The U-20 Wrestling World Championship continues in Samokov, Bulgaria.
On the second day of the tournament, four more Azerbaijani freestyle wrestlers joined the competition, Idman.biz reports.
Among them, Anar Jafarli advanced to the semifinals.
U20 World Championship – Freestyle wrestling results:

Vasif Baghirov defeated Brazilian Caio Aron 6:1 to reach the quarterfinals. However, he lost 2:9 to Indian Sumit Malik on the way to the semifinals.
65 kg
Agha Gasimov lost 0:10 to Russian Amal Dzhandubaev (UWW) in the qualification round.
79 kg
Muradkhan Omarov won his debut matches against Spaniard David Gil (9:2) and Romanian David Tarta (10:0), advancing to the quarterfinals. He then lost 0:10 to Russian Said Saidulov (UWW) in this stage.
92 kg
Anar Jafarli defeated Turkmenistan’s Orazmuhammet Hojalyyev 3:2 in the first round. He then won 10:0 against both Belarusian Aleksey Kulakov (UWW) and Indian Sachin Sachin, advancing to the semifinals. Jafarli will face Kazakhstan’s Kamil Kurugliyev on the path to the final.
The semifinals will begin at 18:00 Baku time.
Today, two of our wrestlers, Nurlan Agazade (70 kg) and Yusif Dursunov (125 kg), will compete for bronze medals.
