Eldeniz Azizli (55 kg), Greco-Roman wrestler of the Azerbaijan national team, told Idman.biz.
He expressed his views before the World Championship in non-Olympic wrestling, which will be held in Tirana, the capital of Albania. Azizli said that his main goal in this World Cup is a gold medal: "I hope that I will become a champion. If I become world champion for the fourth time, it will be a historic record. Because until today, none of our wrestlers has achieved this feat four times."
He also said that he is ready to compete for the next success: "I was injured in training just last week. I have a tear in my back muscle. That's why I suffer a little. My injury is hindering me. Nevertheless, I think everything will go well. I believe it will be good on race day. My opponents are strong. I know all of them, I know their potential. Since it is the World Championship, the best of each country will compete here."
The world championship will be held on October 28-31.
