The European Olympic Qualifying Tournament for wrestling held in Baku has ended.
Idman.biz reports that on the last day of the competition, wrestlers from only three teams won an Olympic license.
One of them, Azerbaijan, has obtained 5 tickets to the Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games. Individual Neutral Athletes won the most – 6 licenses. Another license was obtained by Georgia.

In total, members of 15 teams won 36 licenses in the three-day competition. Individual Neutral Athletes obtained 13 qualifications.
Azerbaijan took the first place among the countries. The Azerbaijan national team got 5 certificates. Turkiye had 3 successes in Baku.

Before them, the other Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Magomedkhan Magomedov (97 kg) acquired this right.
