The living legend of world wrestling, four-time Olympic champion in women’s wrestling and former member of the Azerbaijan national team, Mariya Stadnik, has drawn significant attention with her social media post on her 37th birthday.
Idman.Biz reports that in her post, the experienced athlete emphasized that a person’s value is measured not by appearance, but by their inner world.
“The most valuable things are within us; age only adds wisdom and changes outward appearance. Hello, my 37 years,” M. Stadnik wrote in her post.
Throughout her professional career, Mariya Stadnik has been one of the most decorated female athletes in Azerbaijan’s wrestling history. Over the years, she has earned medals at World and European Championships, as well as at the Olympic Games, securing a special place in the country’s sports history.
