The National Wrestling Championship for youth and adults will be held, jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan National Sports Disciplines Association (AMINA).
Idman.Biz, citing the press service of AMINA, the tournament will take place at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex.
Wrestlers from various clubs, communities, and sports organizations in the capital and regions will compete for medals.
The main goals of the championship are to select members of the Azerbaijan national team for the coming year in the respective age groups, to promote a healthy lifestyle among youth and adults through sports, and to advance the mass promotion of national wrestling.
The tournament is scheduled for November 16.
