Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé could face a hostile reception from sections of the club's supporters during Saturday's La Liga match against Villarreal at the Santiago Bernabéu.
As reported by İdman.Biz, citing Spanish media, some Real Madrid fans are expected to boo the French international following growing dissatisfaction with his recent performances and off-field behaviour.
The frustration reportedly stems from Real Madrid's 2-1 defeat to Atlético Madrid in the city derby, as well as Mbappé's conduct during the international break.
Following the derby defeat, the French forward attracted criticism for focusing more on his football boots than on Real Madrid's performance during a post-match interview.
Further controversy emerged after Mbappé left the French national team camp and remained in his home country, prompting additional questions and discussions among supporters.
These incidents have reportedly intensified frustration among some Real Madrid fans, raising the possibility of whistles and boos when the forward takes to the pitch at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Mbappé, who joined Real Madrid from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2024, remains one of the club's most prominent attacking players.
Real Madrid will host Villarreal on Saturday, October 10, in their next La Liga fixture.
