Neymar scores twice as Santos fight back to draw with Flamengo

Neymar inspired Santos to a dramatic comeback against Flamengo in the 29th round of the Brazilian Serie A, scoring twice to secure a 2-2 draw.

As reported by İdman.Biz, Santos hosted league leaders Flamengo and found themselves trailing by two goals after the visitors dominated the opening half.

Danilo and Lucas Paqueta were on target for Flamengo, giving the away side a comfortable advantage before the break.

However, the introduction of Neymar at halftime completely changed the course of the match.

The Brazilian forward took responsibility in the closing stages, successfully converting a penalty in the 81st minute to reduce the deficit.

Just six minutes later, Neymar stepped up again and calmly scored his second penalty of the evening, completing Santos' remarkable comeback.

The result allowed Santos to avoid defeat against the championship leaders and collect a valuable point.

Neymar, who returned to his boyhood club Santos in 2025 after leaving Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal, continues to play a key role in the team's attacking performances.

The 34-year-old has now scored eight goals and provided three assists in 13 appearances in the Brazilian championship this season.
