Thomas Tuchel sets new England record

England head coach Thomas Tuchel has set a new national team record.

As reported by İdman.Biz, citing statistical service Opta, the German specialist needed only 26 matches to register 20 victories in charge of England.

This is the fewest games any head coach in the history of the England national team has needed to reach the 20-win mark.

Tuchel achieved the milestone after England defeated the Czech Republic 3-0 on October 6 in the third round of the UEFA Nations League group stage.

The German has been in charge of the England national team since 2025.
