UEFA to decide between Camp Nou and Wembley for 2029 Champions League final

UEFA will decide today which stadium will host the 2029 Champions League final.

As reported by İdman.Biz, Barcelona's Spotify Camp Nou and Wembley Stadium in London are competing for the right to stage the decisive match of Europe's premier club competition.

According to Spanish media, the renovated Camp Nou is currently considered the favourite. Once the redevelopment is completed, the stadium's capacity is expected to reach approximately 105,000 spectators.

The decision will be announced following a meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee in Thessaloniki, Greece, today.

The selection of the host venues for the 2028 and 2029 Champions League finals is among the key items on the agenda of the meeting.

If selected, the revamped Camp Nou would once again become the stage for one of European football's biggest events, while Wembley is also among the continent's most established venues for major UEFA matches.
