Como head coach Cesc Fabregas has praised his players following a 2-1 victory over Parma in Serie A.
As reported by İdman.Biz, the Spanish specialist described the result as an important response from his squad and stressed that the match helped him better understand the team's potential.
"It was an important response for the team because it means I can count on everyone. I am very happy with the result. It is an important win for me as a coach because I am starting to understand what kind of team we can become," Fabregas said.
The former Barcelona, Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder also noted that Como have had to adapt to new challenges this season, with opponents changing their approach against his side.
Fabregas explained that his emotional celebration was linked to the importance of seeing how his players would react mentally following their Champions League match.
The victory continued Como's strong start to the domestic campaign. The team have collected 10 points from their opening four Serie A matches and currently sit third in the standings.
