Real Madrid head coach Jose Mourinho has explained when supporters can expect to see clear progress in his team's performances.
As reported by İdman.biz, after five rounds of La Liga, the Madrid club sit second in the standings with 12 points.
"I ask for three months, while others ask for ten years... Maybe I expressed myself incorrectly. What I mean is that in three months I want us to be better than we are today, but I don't have a magic wand that will take us to an incredible level in three months," Mourinho was quoted as saying by AS.
The Portuguese coach stressed that the objective is to improve step by step.
"In every match and every training session, the goal is to get better. When a team spends more time together and works longer with the same coach, it has more opportunities to become stronger," he added.
Real Madrid will now look to continue developing under Mourinho while remaining among the leading contenders in La Liga.
