Barcelona's new signing Rodri Hernandez could make his first start for the Catalan club in the upcoming La Liga match against Valencia, Idman.Biz reports.
According to Sport, the 30-year-old Spain international has reached optimal physical condition and is ready to be included in the starting line-up for the fourth-round fixture.
Barcelona head coach Hans-Dieter Flick, however, has yet to make a final decision on whether Rodri will start the match.
The midfielder joined Barcelona from Manchester City on August 18. The World Cup winner came off the bench in both of the Catalan club's previous two matches.
Valencia will host Barcelona on September 6.
