The authorities of Yomra municipality in Türkiye's Trabzon province are planning to rename the street where Trabzonspor's new signing Mohamed Salah lives.
As reported by İdman.Biz, Yomra Mayor Mustafa Bıyık announced the initiative on social media platform X.
"We are extremely proud that Mohamed Salah, the greatest transfer in the history of Turkish football, will live in our district. This week, following a decision by the municipal council, the street where Salah's house is located will be named after Mohamed Salah. We have done our part, now it is Salah's turn," Bıyık said.
The Egyptian forward joined Trabzonspor as a free agent this summer.
Salah previously spent eight seasons at Liverpool, establishing himself as one of the most prolific forwards in the club's history. During his time in England, he won numerous trophies, including the Premier League and UEFA Champions League.
