Djokovic suffers first-round exit at US Open for first time in career

Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic has failed to advance past the first round of the 2026 US Open.

As reported by İdman.Biz, Djokovic faced Argentina's Mariano Navone in the opening round of the tournament.

Navone defeated Djokovic in five sets – 7:6 (7:5), 5:7, 4:6, 6:2, 6:1.

Thus, Djokovic was eliminated in the first round of the US Open for the first time in his career.
