Aston Villa are closing in on the signing of Parma and Japan goalkeeper Zion Suzuki.
Idman.Biz reports, citing journalist Fabrizio Romano, that the 23-year-old is expected to undergo a medical with the Birmingham club today.
According to the source, Aston Villa will pay €30 million for Suzuki, with a further €5 million potentially due in bonuses.
PSG had previously been linked with the Japanese international but reportedly pulled out of the deal after the terms regarding commission payments were changed at the final stage of negotiations.
Suzuki joined Parma from Belgian club Sint-Truiden in the summer of 2024 for €7.5 million.
Last season, the goalkeeper made 22 appearances, conceding 30 goals and keeping six clean sheets.
Transfermarkt currently values Suzuki at €30 million.
