Twente head coach John van den Brom has assessed his team's performance and the upcoming matches against Qarabag following a 3-1 victory over PEC Zwolle in the Dutch championship.

Van den Brom praised Twente for taking the initiative, maintaining a high tempo and showing intensity on the pitch. He was also satisfied with the team's reaction after falling behind.
The head coach stressed that the upcoming matches against Qarabag in the Conference League UEFA are of particular importance to his side. He also expressed confidence that the fans would provide strong support in the European encounter.
The first match against Qarabag will take place in Enschede on August 20, with the return leg scheduled for August 27 in Baku.
The 3-1 victory over PEC Zwolle was Twente's first win of the new Eredivisie season.
Van den Brom also commented on the competition in attack, noting that Sam Lammers, Wout Weghorst and Lucas Vennegoor of Hesselink are all important players for the team.
