According to İdman.Biz, head coach Ange Postecoglou congratulated the Portuguese forward on his marriage to Georgina Rodríguez during a training session. The players and club staff then applauded Ronaldo.
The 41-year-old returned to the club after the wedding ceremony. Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez officially registered their marriage on August 11 in a private civil ceremony in the Portuguese city of Cascais. The event was attended by family members.
Ronaldo smiled and accepted the applause from his teammates during the congratulations.
Ronaldo and Rodríguez have been in a relationship for around 10 years. The couple announced their engagement in August last year.
