Former Croatia head coach Zlatko Dalić has been appointed manager of the United Arab Emirates national team.
As reported by İdman.Biz, the UAE Football Association announced the appointment.
Dalić replaces Cosmin Olăroiu, who was sacked in May.
The Romanian coach left the team after the UAE's unsuccessful campaign in the 2026 World Cup qualifying tournament.
Dalić left the Croatia national team in July this year after nine years in charge. Under his leadership, Croatia won silver at the 2018 World Cup and bronze at the 2022 World Cup. Croatia also finished runners-up in the 2022/23 UEFA Nations League.
