Alexis Sánchez set to leave Europe as Chilean agrees MLS move

Chile international Alexis Sánchez is preparing to leave European football after agreeing a move to Major League Soccer.

As reported by İdman.Biz, the 37-year-old forward has agreed a two-year contract with Canadian club CF Montréal, with the transfer documents already prepared.

According to renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Sánchez will join the club as a free agent. The Chilean became a free agent after leaving Spanish side Sevilla in the summer.

Sánchez, who has played for clubs including Barcelona, Arsenal, Manchester United, Inter Milan and Marseille, will be playing in MLS for the first time in his career.

The contract is reportedly set to run for two seasons, with the experienced forward to be registered by Montréal as a Designated Player.
