Gianni Infantino’s alleged partner "given major privileges" – The Telegraph

UEFA allegedly paid a woman described as FIFA president Gianni Infantino’s partner a six-figure sum while he was serving as the organisation’s general secretary.

İdman.Biz reports, citing an investigation by The Telegraph, that the woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, held an administrative position at UEFA when her alleged relationship with Infantino began.

According to the newspaper, Infantino, who is married and has four children, allegedly helped her secure a more senior and better-paid position. Her annual salary in the new role was reportedly around 160,000 Swiss francs ($198,000), which was 30 per cent higher than her previous salary.

Sources cited by The Telegraph claim that after UEFA’s leadership became aware of the alleged relationship, the organisation’s then-president Michel Platini gave Infantino an ultimatum: “Her or you?”

Infantino reportedly chose for the woman to leave UEFA.
