Atlético Madrid are looking to complete the signing of Tottenham centre-back Cristian Romero as soon as possible.
İdman.Biz reports that the Spanish club are set to make a new offer for the 28-year-old Argentine in the near future.
The Madrid side will offer around €40 million for Tottenham’s captain. The figure is close to the amount demanded by the London club for the defender.
Barcelona and Arsenal are also expected to join the race for Cristian Romero. Atlético therefore want to complete the deal as quickly as possible to avoid missing out on their transfer target.
