Arsenal have reached an agreement with Newcastle United over the signing of Brazilian midfielder Bruno Guimarães.
As reported by İdman.Biz, the London club will pay £75 million for the 28-year-old. Although Newcastle initially rejected Arsenal's opening offer, the two clubs eventually reached a compromise after further negotiations.
Guimarães has been given permission to travel to London to undergo a medical and complete the transfer. He is also reported to have agreed personal terms with Arsenal.
The Brazil international remains under contract with Newcastle until the summer of 2028. He joined the Magpies from French side Lyon in January 2022.
Guimarães was named Newcastle's Player of the Season after captaining the team and establishing himself as one of its key performers during the 2025/26 campaign.
As part of the transfer agreement, Lyon will receive a percentage of the fee Newcastle earn from the sale of the midfielder.
