Veteran goalkeeper Vozinha received a memorable welcome after completing his move to Chilean side Colo-Colo, with his new jersey delivered to him by parachute during his official presentation.
As reported by İdman.Biz, citing El País, a parachutist descended into Monumental Stadium in Santiago carrying the Cape Verde international's shirt before presenting it to the 40-year-old in front of approximately 30,000 supporters.
The jersey, bearing Vozinha's name and the No. 29, was delivered by renowned parachutist Sebastián "Ardilla" Álvarez. The goalkeeper, whose full name is Josimar José Évora Dias, has signed a six-month contract with Colo-Colo that includes an option to extend the deal by another year.
Vozinha attracted widespread attention with his performances for Cape Verde at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. His side drew 0-0 with Spain, 2-2 with Uruguay and 0-0 with Saudi Arabia during the group stage, while the experienced goalkeeper made a total of 18 saves in the tournament.
He produced another outstanding display against Argentina, recording eight saves, but Cape Verde were eventually eliminated after suffering a 3-2 extra-time defeat.
