Dutch club Ajax are working on signing Maximilian Ibrahimovic, the son of former Sweden national team striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
According to Idman.Biz, citing De Telegraaf, the Amsterdam side are considering a loan move for the player from Milan with an option to buy. It is expected that at the initial stage Maximilian will train with Ajax’s first team, but will play for the club’s youth side.
The source notes that after talks with several other Dutch clubs, the left winger is giving preference to Ajax. This season, Ibrahimovic has been playing for Milan’s youth team, making 19 appearances, scoring five goals and providing five assists.
It is worth noting that earlier Zlatan Ibrahimovic, commenting on his son’s statistics, stated that there is still a lot of hard work to be done to improve these numbers.
