Manchester United showed interest in the possibility of appointing Simone Inzaghi, who is currently in charge of Saudi club Al Hilal, as the team’s new head coach.
According to Idman.Biz, citing journalist Nicolo Schira, Manchester United requested information about Inzaghi as a potential coaching option following the dismissal of Ruben Amorim. However, the Italian specialist decided to remain at Al Hilal.
It should be recalled that Amorim left his position as Manchester United head coach on January 5. The Red Devils currently sit sixth in the English Premier League standings with 31 points after 20 matches.
