Maria Sol Messi, the sister of Argentina national team captain Lionel Messi, has been involved in a serious road traffic accident and sustained severe injuries.
According to Idman.Biz, the crash occurred in Miami, where the car she was driving left the road and collided with a wall.
Initial medical examinations revealed that Maria Sol suffered fractures to two vertebrae, injuries to the ankle and wrist bones, as well as burns. Her condition is currently reported as stable, but she is expected to undergo a lengthy rehabilitation period.
As a result of the accident, her upcoming wedding ceremony has also been postponed. Maria Sol was scheduled to marry on January 3, 2026, to Julian Tuli Arellano, a coach with Inter Miami’s youth team.
