Fulham player has bone reset on the pitch before continuing the match

Fulham defender Joachim Andersen suffered a serious injury during an English Premier League match against Nottingham Forest, which ended in a 1-0 victory for the London side.

According to Idman.biz, the incident occurred in the first half at Craven Cottage.

Andersen collided with Forest forward Igor Jesus and took a heavy blow to his left hand. As a result, one of his fingers was dislocated and visibly deformed. Fulham’s medical staff treated the player on the pitch, resetting the finger and securing it with a bandage.

Despite the pain, the 29-year-old defender was able to continue the match and played until the final whistle. Andersen started in central defense due to the absence of Calvin Bassey, who is with the Nigeria national team at the Africa Cup of Nations, and helped Fulham keep a clean sheet.

The only goal of the match came from the penalty spot. Mexican striker Raul Jimenez converted the spot kick to extend his perfect Premier League record to 11 successful penalties without a single miss. With this achievement, he drew level with Yaya Toure.

In the upcoming rounds, Fulham will face a series of London derbies, taking on West Ham, Crystal Palace, and Chelsea.
