Matches of the women's volleyball European Championship qualifiers have continued.
Seven matches took place across different groups, Idman.biz reports.
North Macedonia lost to Greece, Denmark to Belgium, Estonia to Slovenia, Georgia to Spain, Kosovo to Romania (0:3), and Latvia to Bosnia and Herzegovina (2:3). Finland defeated Germany with a score of 3:1.
According to the regulations, in addition to the group winners, five out of the seven second-placed teams will qualify for the European Championship. Currently, Germany, Belgium, Slovenia, Latvia, Spain, Greece, and Croatia are leading their groups.
Azerbaijan is one of the host countries of next year’s European Championship. The tournament will also be held in Turkiye, the Czech Republic, and Sweden.
