Ganja has strengthened its squad with a new volleyball player.
According to information provided by the club to Idman.biz, the team has signed a contract with Kenyan national team player Sharon Chepchumba.
The volleyball player spent last season with Vietnam’s Hoa Chat Duc Giang Lao Cai. Previously, she has played for clubs in Kenya, Turkiye, and Greece.
Nicknamed “Chumba,” the athlete is a winner of the African Club Championship, as well as the Vietnam and Kenya Leagues. As part of the Kenyan national team, she won gold medals at the 2019 African Games and the 2023 African Championship. She has also participated in two consecutive Summer Olympic Games.
