Beach volleyball competitions continue at the World University Games held in Germany’s Rhine-Ruhr region.
According to special correspondent of Idman.biz in Germany, today Azerbaijan’s men's duo Nariman Bayramli and Aykhan Abdullayev, as well as the women’s team of Sabina Alizada and Fidan Ahmadkhanova, played their matches for 21st–24th places.
The women faced the Indian duo of Kanimozhi–Gowshika. Alizada and Ahmadkhanova emerged victorious after three sets – 2:1.
Bayramli and Abdullayev, on the other hand, lost in two sets – 0:2 – to the Lebanese team of Hadi-El Chabib.

Our women's team will face the winner of the match between Spain and India. The men will await the winner of the Japan vs. Lebanon clash.
Our teams have yet to secure a win at the Universiade.
