Beach volleyball competitions continue at the Universiade held in Germany’s Rhine-Ruhr region.
According to the correspondent of Idman.biz sent to Germany, the matches are taking place in the city of Duisburg.
In the women’s category, Azerbaijani beach volleyball players — Sabina Alizada and Fidan Ahmadkhanova, played their second match of the tournament at the multiforum. They lost in straight sets to the Lithuanian duo of Krizanauskaite and Rudkovskaja. This marks their second defeat at the Universiade.
Later, the Azerbaijani men's pair, Nariman Bayramli and Aykhan Abdullayev, will take to the court to face the Austrian duo of Klemen and Spoler.
