Azerrail transfers former Azerbaijani national team volleyball player

Former player of the Azerbaijani women's national volleyball team, Shafagat Alishanova, has joined Azerrail.

Idman.biz reports that the 34-year-old setter herself informed AZERTAC about the transfer.

She has signed a one-year contract with the club.

Alishanova has previously worn the Azerrail jersey. Most recently, she played for the National Aviation Academy during the 2023-2024 season.
