The Azerbaijan national men’s volleyball team has announced its final roster for the upcoming CEV Silver League.
12 players have been selected for the final squad. Head coach Farid Jalalov, along with assistants Akif Valiyev and Jalil Jalilov, made their choices after evaluating 17 players during the training camp, five athletes were not included in the final list, Idman.biz reports.
Final Roster:
Outside Hitters: Andrey Melnikov, Javid Azimov, Yusif Bunyatov, Vusal Gurbanov
Middle Blockers: Aslan Hamidov, Mardan Mammadov, Dmitrii Baranov, Ramazan Aghabayov
Setters: Roman Gurskiy, Amirmahdi Ablou
Liberos: Kenan Allahverdiyev, Nihad Gasimov
The national team will play its opening match on June 6 against Sweden.
