"I couldn't play with the national team in the Golden European League due to an injury".
It was told to Idman.biz by Azerbaijani national volleyball player Ayshan Abdulazimova.
32-year-old blocker, who parted ways with the Hungarian club Vasash, has revealed her future plans. She said that she is currently continuing her treatment: "I am working on my injuries. If I have time, I will rest a little before the season. However, I don't know where I will start the new volleyball year. I am currently considering offers. There are offers from local clubs. That is why I am still thinking. I can stay in Azerbaijan or leave. Anything can happen".
Abdulazimova, who has lived a legionnaire life for many years, emphasized the importance of foreign experience in her sports career: "The most valuable experience I have gained was playing in the Champions League. I have said this before that if I had the opportunity, I would have left the country sooner and started living the legionnaire life earlier. Of course, there are advantages and disadvantages to this. However, I advise every young player to live the legionnaire life."
Abdulazimova became the Hungarian champion 5 times with her last club Vasash.
