Greek volleyball club Panionios has officially announced the signing of Polina Rahimova.
The Azerbaijani volleyball star expressed her satisfaction at taking on a new challenge in her message to the club and its fans, Idman.biz reports.
Rahimova emphasized that she is joining an ambitious team:
"I was very pleased that Panionios showed interest in me. This is a team with great ambitions and will also compete in European tournaments next season. I’m happy to be part of such a team and will give my all to help the club succeed."
Rahimova spent last season in Brazil, where she became both league and cup champion with the Osasco club.
