The squad for the Azerbaijan men’s national volleyball team ahead of the CEV Silver European League has been officially announced.
According to Idman.biz, the preliminary roster includes 17 players.
Head coach Farid Jalalov will be supported by assistant coaches Akif Valiyev and Jalil Jalilov. The squad consists of 4 setters, 6 middle blockers, 2 liberos, and 5 outside hitters.
Setters: Amirmehdi Abilov, Mirhasil Seyidli, Vusal Rustamov, Roman Gurski
Middle Blockers: Emin Alishanov, Mardan Mammadov, Dmitry Baranov, Aslan Hamidov, Yegor Nikulenko, Ramazan Agabeyov
Liberos: Nihad Gasimov, Kenan Allahverdiyev
Outside Hitters: Javid Azimov, Ruslan Aliyev, Yusif Bunyatov, Andrey Melnikov, Mirashraf Rzazade
The Azerbaijan national team will play its first match on June 6 against Sweden.
