The men’s volleyball team Khilasedici, bronze medalists of the Azerbaijan High League in the past season, has officially parted ways with six players.
Idman.biz reports that club manager Onat Kurt shared the news with AZERTAC.
According to Kurt, Serbian player Aleksandar Tumbas, Ukrainian Bohdan Mazenko, Russians Aleksander Popleteev and Ivan Volodin, along with Turkish players Onurcan Cakır and Serhat Coskun, have left the team. The players’ contracts were not renewed.
The manager also noted that negotiations are currently underway to extend contracts with Cuban Gustavo Almora and Mongolian Batsuuri Battur.
