Azerbaijani international volleyball referee Eldar Aliyev has been appointed to officiate national team matches.
Aliyev will serve as a referee in two games during the second mini-tournament of the CEV Silver League, which will be held in Baku from June 13–15, Idman.biz reports.
On June 14, Aliyev will officiate the Hungary vs. Luxembourg match alongside Turkish referee Cevril Ebru Kaya. The following day, he will team up with Serbia’s Đorđe Stevanović for the Azerbaijan vs. Hungary game.
The Azerbaijani national team will open the Baku stage of the CEV Silver League on June 13 against Luxembourg. That match will be officiated by Cevril Ebru Kaya (Turkey) and Đorđe Stevanović (Serbia).
