Idman biz reports that the president of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation, Shahin Bagirov, said this at a press conference dedicated to the activities of the organization in 2023.
He said that every person in the field of sports tried to take successful steps in their activities in the anniversary year of the Great Leader: "I think that we should show better activities next year. I thank the Ministry of Youth and Sports for always supporting us. As a result of the care given to sports in Azerbaijan, we are trying to achieve more success in our work and develop volleyball in the regions."
Noting that discussions were held regarding the post of the head coach of the national women's volleyball team, Bagirov congratulated Faig Garayev, who has played a role in the development of volleyball and in showing successful results in international arenas, with the appointment of the head coach.
He also presented the symbolic form of the national team to the experienced specialist.
