Shahin Baghirov, President of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF), met with the U-15 volleyball players who won bronze at the III CIS Games.
According to Idman.Biz, the event was attended by AVF Vice Presidents Faiq Qarayev and Bahruz Guliyev, Secretary General Faiq Orujov, federation representatives, team members, coaching staff, and parents.
During the meeting, Baghirov congratulated the players and coaching staff on their bronze medal achievement, noting that the success reflects AVF’s ongoing efforts to develop youth volleyball.
The federation president encouraged the young athletes to keep working hard, strive to become strong and recognized volleyball players, and aim to join the senior national team. He wished them success in upcoming competitions and throughout their careers, and thanked parents for their support and attention.
Speakers Faiq Qarayev, Bahruz Guliyev, and Faiq Orujov highlighted that the development of youth volleyball continues and expressed confidence that both girls’ and boys’ teams will achieve even greater successes in the near future.
The team’s head coach Shahin Chatma, the players, and parents thanked the AVF leadership for the opportunities provided and the efforts to develop volleyball in Azerbaijan.
