A meeting was held with Hakuho Sho, the world’s most decorated sumo wrestler and a multiple Guinness World Records holder.
During the meeting, detailed information was provided about the 2026 Sumo World Championship, which will be held in Baku, Idman.biz reports.
The official mascot of the tournament, Azumo, was then presented.
The event was attended by the Association’s vice-presidents Ulvi Agamirov and Togrul Ruslanoglu, as well as national team athlete Javid Yusifov.
