Azerbaijani judoka Eljan Hajiyev (90 kg) has won a medal at the Universiade for the second consecutive time.
According to correspondent of Idman.biz sent to Germany, he first distinguished himself two years ago at the Universiade held in Chengdu, China.
At that time, Hajiyev won a bronze medal in the team competition. In the third-place match, our male judokas defeated Mongolia.
Currently, at the ongoing Universiade in Germany’s Rhine-Ruhr region, Hajiyev has secured a silver medal in the individual competition.
