The budget for the World Summer Universiade held in Germany’s Rhein-Ruhr region has been announced.
According to the correspondent of Idman.biz based in Germany, the total amount is 157 million euros.
It is planned that 20 million euros of the budget will come from ticket sales and sponsorship agreements.
Instead of the traditional Olympic village, participants have been accommodated in hotels throughout the region. In total, more than 60,000 rooms have been booked for athletes and officials.
