The International University Sports Federation (FISU) has officially announced the host city for the 2027 Universiade.
The prestigious multi-sport event will take place in Chungcheong province, South Korea, Idman.biz reports.
The competitions are scheduled for August 1-12, 2027. This will be the third time South Korea hosts the Universiade, having previously organized it in Daegu in 2003 and Gwangju in 2015.
The organizers have already presented the program of student games, which includes 18 sports: artistic and rhythmic gymnastics, archery, rowing, judo, athletics, badminton, basketball, diving, fencing, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, volleyball, water polo, beach volleyball, and golf.
