Araz Musayev, President of the Muay Thai Federation, was stabbed at the Atatürk Sports Hall in Goynuk municipality, Turkiye.
Gabil Mehdiyev, Head of Public Relations at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, commented to Idman.biz regarding Musayev’s recent accusation against Elnur Mammadov, the Ministry’s department head, which Musayev shared on his WhatsApp before the incident.
In his statement, Mehdiyev wished Musayev a speedy recovery and expressed confidence that the relevant law enforcement agencies will quickly clarify the circumstances surrounding the attack.
Earlier, Musayev had claimed in his post that Elnur Mammadov was trying to block Muay Thai athletes and allegedly sent a group of people against him.
