The latest update has been provided on the health condition of Araz Musayev, President of the Azerbaijan Muay Thai Federation and 9-time world champion, who was stabbed in Turkiye.
Shahriyar Isayev, head coach of the Azerbaijani national men’s Muay Thai team, shared the information with Idman.biz.
He stated that Araz Musayev is currently in stable condition:
“I can’t provide details about the incident. But we came to Turkiye as a team. We’re in constant contact with the doctors and the hospital. His condition is good now, his memory is intact. Everything is under control.”
The incident occurred in Turkiye’s Antalya region, where Araz Musayev was stabbed in the back. He was rushed to the hospital and underwent surgery. Musayev is currently being treated at Kemer State Hospital in Antalya.
A 14-member Azerbaijani delegation is participating in the IFMA World Championship being held in Antalya.
