Forbes USA has revealed its 2026 “30 Under 30” list in the sports category, featuring 15 athletes and 15 sports executives.
Idman.Biz reports that among the young stars are two-time Grand Slam winner Coco Gauff, figure skater Ilya Malinin, and NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The list also highlights innovators transforming the industry, including Camb.ai co-founder Akshat Prakash, whose startup translates live sports broadcasts into 150+ languages, and Trainwell founders Gabe Madonna and Matt Spettel, creators of a fitness app offering real-time feedback.
Inclusivity and accessibility are central themes: OneCourt provides tactile broadcasts for visually impaired fans, while equipment startups like CPX Pickleball and Swift Hockey offer affordable gear. Rising female leaders such as Katie Calderon, developing golf clubs for women, and Hallie Martin, co-founder of the first professional U.S. women’s rugby league, are also featured.
The 2026 list reflects a diverse new generation in sports—14 women and 16 Black athletes—who are not only excelling in performance but also reshaping access, technology, and opportunities worldwide.
