The competitions of the International Sports Federation for Firefighters and Rescuers will be held in Azerbaijan next year.
Idman.Biz reports that these remarks were made by the federation’s president, Aleksandr Chupriyan, at the XXVI International Conference of Heads of Fire and Rescue Services of member countries, held in Baku.
He noted that the federation continues to grow stronger each year with the inclusion of new countries. “We focus primarily on developing the federation’s sports infrastructure and base. This foundation will play a key role in ensuring high-level organization of future competitions. Hosting the championship in Azerbaijan next year is of special importance. Currently, the international federation unites nearly 35 countries across three continents, and this broad network of cooperation is our main source of strength. At the same time, within the framework of sports and business programs, we will closely explore this beautiful country’s climate, culture, lifestyle, and traditions. This will further strengthen and bring our collaboration closer together,” Aleksandr Chupriyan added.
