Famous sports presenter Laura Woods, who works for the UK’s ITV Sport, suddenly fainted live on air ahead of the England vs Ghana women’s national team match.
Idman.Biz reports that Ian Wright and Anita Asante were the first to assist the presenter when she felt unwell during the broadcast. Immediately after the incident, the stadium medical team provided aid to Woods.

The presenter shared an update on social media regarding her condition:
“It seems it was a bit strange. I apologize for worrying everyone. I’m fine. The doctors at Saints said it was probably a virus. I just need some rest and fluids. I’m really embarrassed this happened live. I want to thank my colleagues at ITV who really looked after me tonight. Also, thanks to Wright and Asante for catching me. I apologize again.”According to reports, Laura Woods’ condition is stable, and doctors have recommended a short period of rest.
