Members of Azerbaijan’s national strongman team delivered impressive performances at the World Championship held in Lokitelek, Hungary.
According to Idman.Biz, citing the Azerbaijan Strongman Federation, three athletes represented the country in the competition.
In the youth category, Tural Mirzaliyev (67.5 kg) won the world champion title and also placed third in the absolute championship contest.
Competing in the open age group, Sadiq Musayev earned a silver medal.
In the heavyweight category, Jalil Aliyev not only became world champion in the open age group but also set a new world record.
